Paul Burke
Group Managing Director |
A qualified
accountant, Paul spent almost ten years with State Securities, part of
Abbey National, specialising in asset finance.
As Finance Director, Paul
was part of the successful team that concluded the original sale to Abbey
National, and then in 2003 the sale of the company to The Rothchilds
Merchant banking group. Paul
was previously a Director of Tenon Recovery, part of Tenon Plc, the business
services group, where he gained experience of workouts and turnarounds
and helped in implementing and developing regional strategic reviews. Paul
joined Davenham as Finance Director in early 2005. |

James R Kerr-Muir
Chairman |
James is a former Managing Director UK of Tate & Lyle plc and Group Finance Director of Kingfisher plc.
He is currently Chairman of Acertec plc and a non-executive Director of Gartmore Fledgling Trust plc. In the past he has held various non-executive posts including Birmingham Midshires Building Society, Hardys & Hanson plc and was Chairman of Senior plc. |
Graham("Sam") L Footitt
Senior non-executive Director |
Sam joined the Board in 2001, having previously held many senior roles within Royal Dutch Shell plc, including Director of Finance of Shell UK Limited.
Since retiring from Royal Dutch Shell plc he has been a consultant to Simmons & Simmons, the City of London Law firm and to Schroder Salomon Smith Barney, the investment banking arm of Citigroup, Inc.
He is also non-executive Director of two other companies. |
David H Stewart

David joined the Board in October 2005, having previously held senior roles in banking and asset finance including Commercial Banking Director of TSB Group plc, Director of Business and Professional Banking of Abbey National Group plc and Executive Director of Business Finance, First National Bank Limited.
He is also non-executive Director of Fletcher King.
He was previously non-executive Chairman of Broadcastle plc, a specialist banking and asset finance company. |

Martin Risman
South East |
Martin
has several years experience in the receivables finance industry, starting
with International Factors in the early 1990’s. This followed a successful
period in asset finance sales with Allied Irish Bank.
After 5 years at the
Cashflow Finance division of Bank of Scotland from 1995 – 2000,
Martin progressed through a number of sales management positions, primarily based
in London. Most recently he
has been with GE Commercial Finance, with roles including
Regional Director in London and National Sales Director and European Sales
Manager for the Distribution Finance Technology Division. |
Anne Murray
Property |
Anne has several years experience in the property finance industry,
having previously worked in various
roles within RBS, before moving over to Davenham Group.
Anne joined Davenham in 2000 as
a Client Relationship Manager before being promoted
to Senior Client Relationship Manager, followed by a further promotion
to Client Relationship Director in 2008. |
Neil McGivern
Trade |
Neil
started in Corporate Banking with Barclays Bank and then Lloyds TSB in
various areas of the country, before entering the invoice finance industry
with an Operations Management role with Rothschilds subsidiary, Five Arrows,
15 years ago.
Neil
moved to Bibby Factors where he was latterly Managing Director of both
their North West and North East operations. MBA qualified, Neil has also
held the position of Chairman of the Operations Directors Forum for the
FDA for 5 years and lectured for the FDA in both Fraud and Law. |
